The Woods Hole Golf Club Guest Standards

Visitors to the club should be aware of certain policies and standards that apply to all members and guests, briefly summarized here.

 

Dress Code

For golf course and practice area:

 

• Men: shirts with collars, turtlenecks or mock turtlenecks, and sleeves. Slacks or Bermuda length shorts. No jeans, sweatpants or caps worn backwards.

• Women: dresses, skirts, slacks or Bermuda length shorts, appropriate golf shirts. No halter tops, tee shirts, jeans, sweatpants, cut-off shirts or shorts.

• No metal spikes are allowed.

 

For clubhouse:

• Appropriate golf course dress is generally acceptable during the day. Hats are not to be worn by men or boys in the clubhouse.

• Dress casual attire is appropriate for evening dining. Jackets are suggested but not required for men.

 

Cell Phone Policy

In the clubhouse, cell phones must be in the silent alert mode. Use of cell phones is restricted to the locker rooms, parking and road areas. Cell phone use is permitted on the golf course, practice area or tennis courts only for urgent calls, with permission from all playing partners.

Cell phone use is prohibited during tournament play.
